“What’s the Deal with the Bats this Year???”

 

We’ve heard this question from nearly every high school player or parent who has passed through our Baseball Academy this fall.

 

Rather than answer the same question every time we get it, we decided to put up this website to answer questions about the BBCOR Bats that all high schools are going to this year.

In brief, the bat technology was getting so explosive that there was an outcry for the safety of pitchers and infielders.  the BESR technology that had been commonplace for so long was tossed aside and BBCOR replaced it.  Simply put, ALL high school hitting records are safe for the time being.  College Baseball experienced the incredible difference the technology makes last year and there are going to be plenty of high schoolers struggling to get the barrel to the baseball this year.

Our Goal is to Educate and Create a Forum for Users of BBCOR Bats – We’ll Add More Soon.  For Now We’ll Let Sport Science Tell the BBCOR Story.
